Terms and Conditions ForvInternSify Referral Programme
The Internsify Africa Referral Program welcomes you/ Welcome to Internsify Africa Referral Program! We would like to thank you for your interest in promoting our service and acknowledge your enthusiasm for it. The program’s operation and the requirements for participation and reward are described in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
Before referring someone, please carefully read these terms. By participating in the Referral Program, you accept these Terms as binding.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in our referral programme, you must be:
- Over 18 years of age
- A registered user on http://www.internsifyafrica.com or
- one of Intensify Africa’s partners.
How to Make a Referral
- Visit our website: http://www.internsifyafrica.com
- Create an account and provide your personal information and account number.
- Share your referral link with friends, family, and your WhatsApp community to start earning.
Take Note;
The referral codes and other materials that participants receive as part of the Program are non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged.
Internsyfiy owns all intellectual property related to the Referral Program and is the only entity with the authority to control who can access and utilize the referral codes and other related materials.
The referral codes/links are to be shared with individuals who have never enrolled in any course on Internsify Africa’s platform, subsequently referred to as the “Referred Party” or “Referred Parties”.
To qualify as a Referred Party, the recipient of the referral code must use the code to sign up for a course and be successfully onboarded on Internsify Africa’s platform as a student. Recipients and users of the referral codes/links will not qualify as a Referred Party if they:
- are not eligible to enroll in any course on InternsifyAfrica’s platform; or
- have been previously suspended as a learner on InternsifyAfrica’s platform.
Rewards
For each successful referral and onboarding of a Referred Party, Participants shall earn N6,000 (Six Thousand Naira) as commission.
Record of each commissioned earned will be saved in the participant user page on: http://www.internsifyafrica.com.
Reward can only be claimed/withdrawn after Ten (10) successful referrals and onboarding of all Referred Parties.
All earned commission at the point of withdrawal subject to the paragraph immediately preceding this paragraph above shall be paid into Participant’s bank account provided during registration on http://www.internsifyafrica.com
Rewards may be subject to local income tax law in the country of an Participant’s residence. Participant shall be responsible for any transaction fee and tax liability arising from the rewards received during the Referral Programme.
Privacy & Personal Data
We respect the privacy of our users and are dedicated to protecting your personal information. In connection with the Referral Program, we may collect certain personal information about you and the people you refer, such as names, email addresses, account number and referral codes.
The Referral Program administration team will only use this information to process, referrals, track rewards, and communicate with you and your referrals. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your consent, except as necessary to fulfill the program or as required by law.
Here are some additional details about how we handle your information:
Data Security: We take appropriate precautions to guard against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, and destruction of your personal information.
Data Retention: We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Your Choices: You may have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information.
Changes to Privacy Practices: We reserve the right to periodically revise our privacy policies. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website.
By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to the collection, use, and dissemination/disclosure of your personal information as described in this clause and our Privacy Policy.
Use of Trademarks
The trademarks of InternsifyAfrica may only be used by participants for referral purposes. Any such use shall be in accordance with InternsifyAfrica’s brand guidelines and policies. It is expressly understood that this Agreement does not grant any Participant an interest in InternsifyAfrica’s trademarks or any other intellectual property rights.
Liability
InternsifyAfrica’s liability to any Participant for damages under the Participant Program is limited to the total commission paid or payable to such Participant in the three-month period immediately preceding the occurrence of any loss or damage to such Participant.
Any participant that does not receive payment from InternsifyAfrica will not be entitled to consequential, indirect, special, punitive, or loss of income or profit damages.
InternsifyAfrica shall not be liable to any Participant for any consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenue. InternsifyAfrica shall not be liable to a Participant who loses their password and someone gains access to their portal and withdraws their earnings from their portal.
InternsifyAfrica takes reasonable measures to ensure the security of its platform, including password protection and encryption of sensitive data. However, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that it is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Participant’s account credentials and passwords. InternsifyAfrica shall not be liable for any unauthorised access to the Participant’s account resulting from the loss or disclosure of the Participant password or sharing of OTP. The Participant agrees to immediately notify InternsifyAfrica of any unauthorised use of the Participant account or any other breach of security.
Termination
InternsifyAfrica reserves the right to terminate or modify the Participant Programme at any time. Participants can withdraw their participation in the Programme at any time and for any reason.
Participants who violate the terms of this policy may have their participation revoked, and any accrued rewards may be forfeited.
Participants who are unable to make at least 10 successful referrals and onboarding of same within a year (12 months), shall have their participation revoked and any accrued rewards may be forfeited.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with the validity, interpretation and performance of these Terms between Participants and InternsifyAfrica, Referred Parties and InternsifyAfrica or between InternsifyAfrica and any third party that cannot be resolved amicably by the parties through negotiation within 30 (thirty) days shall be resolved by Arbitration at the Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) before a single arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act, 2023.
The Parties shall endeavour in good faith to mutually agree on the selection of an arbitrator. If the Parties cannot mutually agree on the selection of an arbitrator within 10 (ten) days of the request, they shall apply to the LCA to appoint an arbitrator. Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in Lagos.
The arbitrator will be requested to render an award within 90 (ninety) days and to provide, in writing the reasoning for the award. The decision of any such arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties.
Each party shall bear its cost in connection with the Arbitration and the arbitrator’s fees shall be split equally between both parties.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire understanding between each user and InternsifyAfrica for the purpose of the Participant Programme. Except as specified in these Terms, no other agreements, representations, or guarantees shall be enforceable against Participants and InternsifyAfrica unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
Changes
Without giving previous notice, InternsifyAfrica retains the right to alter these Terms at any moment and to make any necessary modifications..
